Our dolls come in two separate styles:
The first style is a 'platform' doll. It is fixed on a base and therefore stands upright by itself, the paddle mechanism being in a fixed position under the doll's feet.
The second style is the most typical found amongst antique dancers! The paddle and doll are both separate pieces. The doll having a stick mounted to it's back by which it is held by hand over the paddle. The paddle is then vibrated under the feet of the doll by means of drumming with the fingers upon the paddle as can be seen in several of the pictures!
