This 'Ragtime' Banjo man is the second of our platform dolls.  While not an original Appalachian dancing doll, he was nevertheless a turn of the century tin figurine mounted to the top of a drum which when wound would dance!  We so enjoyed seeing him that we have converted him into one of our dolls!
